El control dels cabals d'aigua en dutxes i aixeteries i el conseqüent estalvi energètic, és un dels factors més decisius per a qualsevol llar, però també per a totes les companyies i restaurants i, de manera especial, per a tots els establiments hotelers.

The water flow control in showers and taps and its energetic saving is one of the most important factors for any home, as well as, companies, restaurants and, specially, hotels.

With the aim of optimizing the use of water resources, designing, and adapting hotels with a clear commitment to sustainability, the German faucet company has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the potential savings involved in the use of new technologies that are currently available on the market.

Under the name of "EcoCheck" hansgrohe has launched a communication campaign, to more than 30,000 hotels throughout Spain. The company offers the possibility of receiving a kit composed of the EcoSmart taps and shower from which they will be able to see the savings and the improvement of the profitability of having this type of solutions of easy installation, and without giving up the pleasure of a shower. This demo is available while supplies last and can be requested through the company's website.

Specifically, this technology allows to reduce water consumption by up to 60% compared to conventional products, without lose the shower experience. In the case of taps, you save up to 5 liters per minute and, in the case of showers, 6 or 9 liters per minute. It has a simple operation from a mixture with air and a flow limiter. The EcoSmart aerator is integrated into the sink mixer spout, and enriches the water by adding air, resulting in a bulky and bubbling water jet.

According to data from the European project HES (Hotel Energy Solution) that seeks to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies in the tourism sector, it is estimated that water consumption represents an average of 10% of the fixed expenses of a hotel. In addition, 15% of a hotel's energy consumption comes from the use of hot water.

Hansgrohe is a pioneer in the development of technologies for bathing and cooking, which focus on functionality and energy saving. This commitment to sustainability, without sacrificing experience and pleasure, is complemented by a variety of designs for each style of hotel and the highest standards of quality and service.
