WEContract took part in InteriHOTEL, the marketplace specializing in hotel interior design held in Barcelona from 23rd to 25th November. Firstly, five brands present in the showroom had their own stand at the event, namely Apartmueble, FEDE, NMC, Rovira i Somnika. Secondly, we held an "After InteriHOTEL" event for professionals at WEcontract and, in addition, we took part in a couple of InteriHOTEL’s round table discussions, known as the IH Talks.

InteriHOTEL was a great opportunity to make contacts and spread the word about WEcontract BCN. As well as handing out an information leaflet to all of the attendees, WEcontract invited visitors to the showroom for a glass of cava after InteriHOTEL had come to a close on Thursday, giving everybody the chance to enjoy the view of La Pedrera from the balcony. Together with the hotel professionals, architects and interior designers who participated, the event welcomed the entire group of professionals taking part in the reverse mission with the Spanish Caribbean and the USA organized by InteriHOTEL and international media outlets. They all had the opportunity to look around the showroom and enjoy a relaxed evening set against the backdrop of La Pedrera, organized to a certain extent as an ‘excuse’ for attracting professionals visiting from abroad.

Moreover, Tatiana Meyer, the manager of the WEcontract BCN showroom, took part in two of the IH Talks round tables that formed part of InteriHOTEL’s program of presentations. In the first, on Wednesday 23rd, Tatiana participated in the session entitled ‘From idea to result: Developing charming projects’, in which Patricia von Arend, of the study of interior design Denys & von Arend, gave an overview of the Parador of Mérida project, with the participation of Daniel de Lamo, the hotel’s director.

On the last day of the event, Friday 25th, Tatiana took part in the round table following the presentation by Lorenzo Castillo and Ramón Fernández from Room Mate entitled ‘21st Century Hotels: The Importance of a Signature Style’, in which they shared insights into the most important and creative projects undertaken by this internationally acclaimed decorator and the most innovative Spanish hotel chain currently on the national scene.

All these events held within the framework of InteriHOTEL have generated a significant amount of traffic in terms of professionals from the sector coming to the WEcontract BCN showroom which, just at that time, was presenting the new developments and changes made in the latest overhaul.
