In general, when evaluating a contract project, we basically focus on the aesthetic aspects. We concentrate on the surface. If the result of our work is aesthetically pleasing, we move on to technical or functional issues: which materials to use, how the equipment works, what the maintenance of a particular element involves, and so on. If the project does not pass a certain aesthetic threshold, it is ruled out directly.

Beauty is not only on the inside, but it isn’t only on the outside either. What is right, just and honest is balance. That is, inner and outer beauty go hand in hand. Also in contract projects and the equipping and decoration of spaces.

DECOSPACE is an innovative system that has been launched by DECOSAN, a brand present in the WEcontract BCN showroom, which avoids the classic traditional trap in bathroom cabinets improving their storage capacity.

Why worry so much about bathrooms in contract projects? At the end of the day, they are hidden spaces and purely functional, right?

Simply. We cannot say that a good contract project in refurbishment or new construction has been completed well unless the project is adapted to the real needs of the people who live and/or are going to live in the space. This fact may seem self-evident, but this is not the case.

The most interesting and motivating projects, although perhaps also the most challenging, are refurbishment projects that aim to maintain the essence and spirit that they had previously.

This morning, we were pleased to hold the inauguration of WEcontract BCN, in an event overseen by Felip Puig, the Minister of Business and Employment of the Catalan Government.
